The practice
I treat women with endometriosis, fibroids and ovarian cysts. I have been a specialist in gynaecology and obstetrics since 1993, I headed the ZEM outpatient clinic at AKH Wien, and I teach at the Medical University of Vienna. What I learned there about diagnosis and surgical technique, I apply here in Hörlgasse. Consultations are available in German or English.
What this means for you: I take what you tell me about your pain seriously, even when the ultrasound looks normal. And I say openly when an operation makes sense and when it does not.

My core clinical focus: the diagnosis and treatment of endometriosis, fibroids (benign muscle growths of the uterus) and ovarian cysts, including chronic lower abdominal pain.
Contraception
Advice on and fitting of all common long-acting methods. Which method suits you depends on your age, whether you wish to have children, your cycle and your medical history. We work that out together in the consultation.
Gynaecology

Annual gynaecological check-up with cervical smear (Pap smear) and ultrasound, assessment of breast lumps, and support through the menopause.
Obstetrics
and surgery
Care throughout pregnancy, including all ultrasound examinations, as well as operations and hospital stays in private hospitals in Vienna.
