Questions about appointments

Can I book an appointment online?

You can send a request online at any time. I confirm the appointment personally, usually on the same working day. That way I can judge how much time your concern needs. I allow 45 minutes for an initial consultation with ultrasound and 20 for a follow-up.

How soon can I get an appointment?

For initial consultations, usually within one to two weeks. If you have severe pain or an abnormal finding, we will find an appointment at short notice. In that case, please call rather than sending an online request.

What does the appointment cost, and does my health insurance pay?

I am a private doctor without a health-insurance contract (“Wahlarzt”): you pay directly and submit the invoice to your health insurer, which usually reimburses part of it. Initial consultation €250, short-notice follow-up from €90 depending on what is needed. All fees in detail.

What should I bring to my first appointment?

Your e-card, previous reports, surgical reports, recent ultrasound or MRI images and a list of your medication. If you have pain, a pain diary covering your last two cycles helps me a great deal.

Where exactly is the entrance?

The practice's address is Hörlgasse 14/11, but you enter the building at Liechtensteinstraße 8. You will find the practice sign on the ground floor.

Can I cancel or reschedule an appointment?

Yes. Please do so by phone or e-mail at least 24 hours in advance, so that the slot can be given to a patient who has symptoms.

If you have sudden, very severe lower abdominal pain, a fever, or bleeding during pregnancy, please go to a gynaecological emergency department immediately or call 144 (ambulance).
