Univ.-Prof. Dr. Reinhard Obwegeser
I have been a specialist in gynaecology and obstetrics since 1993. From 1994 I was a senior consultant at the University Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology at Vienna General Hospital (AKH Wien), where I headed the ZEM outpatient clinic for cysts, endometriosis and fibroids. I teach at the Medical University of Vienna as a university professor.
Today I run a single-doctor practice in the 9th district. The focus has stayed the same: women whose lower abdominal pain nobody has been able to explain so far, and findings where deciding between waiting and operating takes experience.
